HTC introduces new Sensation XL with integrated Beats Audio to the Middle East days after European launch

The launch of the HTC Sensation XL smartphone comes just days after its European debut. Also officially launched at the press conference was the HTC Sensation XE smartphone; both handsets feature the innovative Beats Audio experience.

Recognizing the region’s desire for the latest technology at the same time as the rest of the world, HTC, at the forefront of creative communications solutions, launched the HTC Sensation XL smartphone in the Middle East just days after its glamorous European launch.

The HTC Sensation XL and HTC Sensation XE smartphones are the first to offer a Beats Audio experience, a combination of software and hardware that allows the user to listen to music the way that the artist intended it to be heard. When used with the exclusive Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones, the handset automatically switches to the bespoke Beats by Dr. Dre sound profile, delivering audio tracks tuned specifically for the headphones.  This new addition enhances music services available on the Android market by offering fuller bass, crisper vocals, and a new level of clarity and range.

Both phones come with storage capabilities that allow you to carry thousands of songs with you in your pocket (the Sensation XE has options of 8GB or 16GB microSD card; the Sensation XL comes with 16GB as standard), while the exclusive Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones, a complimentary accessory included with both smartphones, feature a remote control that allows you to play, pause or skip through tracks as well as answering or ending calls while the smartphone remains in your pocket.

HTC’s Sensation XL smartphone operates a 1.5GHz processor, with a 4.7 inch screen and 480x800 resolution. Its dimensions are 132.5mm x 70.7mm x 9.9mm, with a total weight of 162.5g, including battery. HTC’s Sensation XE smartphone runs on a 1.5GHz dual core processor, with a 4.3 inch screen featuring 540x960 resolution. The smartphone’s dimensions are 126.1mm x 65.4mm x 11.3mm, with a total weight of 151g, including battery.
