Huawei supports Saudization and offers jobs to fresh graduates
As part of itsplans to attract Saudi talent and support the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia is hosting a two-day recruitment drive on 23-24 November at the Engineering Faculty of King Saud University, in Riyadh.
Held under the theme “Grow Together”, the 2-day event is in line with Huawei’s strategy to support the advancement of the Kingdom’s ICT sector, nurture young talents and push forward the country’s Saudization agenda. The event enables Huawei to also expand the pool of potential Saudi candidates joining the workforce after graduation, while improving the number of Saudi nationals taking up careers in the ICT field.
“ICT plays an important role in achieving the Saudi vision 2030, as it is required in every business segment of an economy – from oil & gas to education and healthcare to transportation“, said Ramadan Ding, CEO of Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia. “Huawei is committed to developing the ICT sector in the Kingdom by supplying both the public and private sectors with the latest technologies and solutions, and empowering the country’s youth through arming them the knowledge and experience to lead the future of ICT development in the Kingdom”.
In 2015, Huawei introduced ‘Seeds for the Future’, the company’s global flagship CSR program, in the Kingdom. Designed to close the gap between the job market and the classroom, the program offers select groups of students a chance to develop their knowledge and skills within the ICT industry.
