Imdaad provides power generators for Dubai Swimming World Cup 2012

Imdaad, the leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, has announced that it is providing power generators to address the temporary power requirements of the Dubai Swimming World Cup 2012, which is being held from October 2 to 3, 2012 at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex in Dubai and being organized by FINA/Arena. Imdaad has signed an agreement to be a major sponsor of the Dubai Swimming World Cup and will be extending power generation services through Imdaad Power, a division established to address temporary power requirements of projects and industries in the GCC.
“A large-scale and prestigious international event such as the Dubai Swimming World Cup 2012 requires reliable and safe power generation services to ensure that the flow of activities is uninterrupted. Imdaad Power was established to cater to such specific power generation needs of various projects, events and industries, particularly in light of the rapidly expanding development initiatives being undertaken across the GCC and the growing number of global events being hosted in the region. Imdaad’s participation as major sponsor of the Dubai Swimming World Cup will serve as an excellent showcase of the benefits and strategic advantages of our specialized services to address the temporary power requirements of any international event or industrial project. Moreover, this is an important step that reinforces our commitment to serve the community, while helping consolidate Imdaad’s position as the region’s leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions,” said Jamal Abdulla Lootah, CEO, Imdaad.
Imdaad Power provides power generators of various sizes and capacity, from small diesel units to big containerised power units starting with 30Kva to 1250Kva. The power generators are also equipped with sound attenuated enclosures for onboard or dock side needs within the shipping industry. The new Imdaad Power division also offers water-based chillers and air conditioners to supplement the installed process systems or to provide heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) services.
The Dubai Swimming World Cup 2012 will feature the world’s top swimming athletes, including Olympic gold medalists, world record holders and world champions. A total of 130 athletes representing 32 countries will compete in the event, which is the first leg of an eight-leg world circuit being held until November 11, 2012.
