Employees of Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities, environment, and energy management solutions in the GCC, participated today (Sunday, February 21, 2016) in Dubai Car Free Day with the objective to reduce their carbon footprints. Employees gathered at the UAE Exchange metro station to display their support to Dubai Municipality’s annual initiative which aims to make Dubai the world’s most environment-friendly city. Dubai Car Free Day is a tremendous opportunity for Imdaad to reinforce its commitment towards environment sustainability by implementing green practices such as use of public transport to reduce traffic congestion, cut down fuel consumption, and decrease carbon dioxide emissions.

Started in 2010, Dubai Car Free Day is the first-of-its-kind campaign in the region that encourages local community to use public transport for a day to reduce the number of private vehicles on road.
