Jazeera Airways Takes Delivery of Third Airbus A320neo, Second in 2019
Jazeera Airways, Kuwait's leading low-cost airline, operating regionally and internationally, took delivery of a new Airbus A320neo aircraft which landed at Kuwait International Airport on the evening of Saturday, November 30.
This is the third A320neo to join the airline’s fleet and the second to be delivered in 2019. The airline has one more A320neo on order to be delivered before the end of the year.
As its predecessors, the latest A320neo incorporates the CFM LEAP-1A engines, fuel-saving wingtip devices known as Sharklets, and significant reduction in engine noise and CO2 emissions below the current industry standard.
Jazeera Airways today operates a fleet of 12 Airbus aircraft, nine of the A320 model and three of the A320neo model.
Established in April 2004, Jazeera Airways is the first non-government owned airline in the Middle East, continuing to be one of the few Middle East-based private airlines to this day.
Jazeera Airways currently flies to 28 destinations operating a reliable fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft – all fitted with our signature leather seats and two-class cabins. In June 2018 Jazeera was the first airline in the Middle East to introduce the A320neo into its fleet.
