Italian based Tunisian Financier Kamel Ghribi, President of GKSD Investment Holding and Vice President of the San Donato Group, met the Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Moez Belhassine in Milan.  The Minister was accompanied by the Tunisian Ambassador to Italy, Moez Sinoui, by the Director of APIA - (Agricultural Investment Agency) Dr. Faouzi Ben Jdira, Director of FIPA - (Agency for the promotion of foreign investment in Tunisia), Dr. Abdelbasset Ghanmi General Manager - Fipa Tunisia, and Bilel Dardouri representative of FIPA Milan

Philanthropist Ghribi, has already been noted for his generosity towards his homeland when he launched an important support campaign last summer in favour of Tunisian hospitals, which were severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and is committed to strengthening relations and commercial collaboration between Italy and Tunisia. During his meeting he was keen to highlight to the Tunisian delegation the importance of streamlining bureaucratic procedures that are so complex they continue to hamper and discourage potential investors. The system for attracting foreign investments needs to become more dynamic and agile in order to become a model of efficiency in the administrative sector.

The topics touched upon during the meeting concerned various sectors in which to develop projects such as: tourism, health, infrastructure, education, areas of agricultural development and related production, that will help Tunisia to achieve the long overdue economic and social growth that is expected and for which it is ready.
