KIB, KRCS join hands to launch annual Eid clothing initiative

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) launched its Eid clothing humanitarian initiative, dubbed  “Kiswat Al Eid”, in collaboration with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), as part of its annual Ramadan campaign. This initiative aims to support and promote charitable and humanitarian practices that offer a helping hand to the families in need across Kuwait during the blessed holy month, reflecting the Bank’s dedication to community outreach and social responsibility. 

Commenting on the initiative, Fahad Alsarhan, Senior Manager from the Marketing Department and the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB, said: “As part of our collaboration with KRCS, purchase vouchers for Eid clothing and other seasonal needs will be distributed to disadvantaged families throughout Kuwait in a bid to alleviate the burden on parents and caregivers during such blessed days. The ‘Kiswat Al Eid’ initiative seeks to bring joy to the lives of children and their families, in line with KIB’s efforts to spread the spirit of solidarity and compassion amongst members of our society.”

Alsarhan added that the “Kiswat Al Eid” initiative aims to make a significant difference in the lives of dozens of deserving families this year, recalling the remarkable success and great turnout it had achieved in the past few years. He also affirmed KIB’s social obligation towards its community as the Bank aims to remain one of the leading national institutions that is actively involved in social issues. Alsarhan concluded by encouraging KIB’s customers to spread happiness and joy throughout Ramadan, allowing underprivileged children to rejoice during the festivities of Eid Al-Fitr with the rest of the families in Kuwait.  

It is noteworthy that “Kiswat El Eid” is part of KIB’s inclusive traditional Ramadan program, which seeks to endorse the Bank’s pledge to serving the people of its community and positively impacting families’ social well-being across Kuwait. Moreover, KIB aims to continue expanding the scope of its pioneering social responsibility program by organizing charitable initiatives of all kinds and on all occasions.
