Leo Burnett Jordan wins two awards at Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity 2015

Leo Burnett Jordan has been named a winner in two very challenging categories at the Dubai Lynx Awards: a silver in Media and a bronze in Promo and Activation for their Samsung initiative #بكتب_بالعربي (I Write in Arabic). 

For the 9th year in a row, Dubai hosts the most anticipated event of the year, where all advertising and communications people gather to celebrate their outstanding achievements and to share their expertise with regional and international counterparts. A panel of international juries determined the winners who were honored during the award ceremony that took place at Madinat Jumeirah on March 11, 2015.

The winning initiative #بكتب_بالعربي was an integrated effort focused on social media platforms to minimize the gap between technology and the Arabic language. Its aim was to celebrate the language during World Arabic Language Day and encourage online Arabic content.

The initiative came in conjunction with World Arabic Language Day, launched by UNESCO with the slogan “The Arabic Letter.” It symbolizes the celebrated Arabic language and a significant coexistence with all cultures.
