Long-standing Partnership in Youth Digital Empowerment: The Ministry of Youth and Orange Jordan Explore Opportunities to Strengthen Collaboration

On Wednesday, the Minister of Youth, Dr. Raed Sami Al-Adwan, and the CEO of Orange Jordan, Eng. Philippe Mansour, discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry and the company. The meeting was attended by the Chief Corporate Communication & Sustainability Officer at Orange Jordan, Eng. Rana Al Dababneh.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Al-Adwan emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to digitally empowering youth by developing their digital skills in line with future jobs and labor market requirements. He outlined the Ministry’s plan to activate youth centers, which includes a key focus on enhancing the programs offered by both the centers and the Ministry. This entails strengthening initiatives in entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as digital literacy and coding programs within the plans of directorates, youth centers, and business incubators.
Dr. Al-Adwan valued the long-standing partnership with Orange Jordan, which, through the Orange Digital Center, has empowered youth and equipped them with communication, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills, in addition to providing integrated telecom solutions that support training programs.
For his part, the CEO of Orange Jordan, Eng. Philippe Mansour, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to digitally empowering youth and supporting them in shaping their future, while encouraging diverse talents to join the telecommunications and IT sector and contribute to achieving the national digital transformation vision. He added that the company’s technological solutions and investments in 5G network infrastructure reflect Orange Jordan’s approach to deliver on promises, creating a positive impact on society, and promoting sustainability.
The two sides also discussed ways to support volunteer efforts and ensure they have a lasting and sustainable impact. Orange Jordan has recently received the Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service in its second edition, for the For-Profit Organization category.
