Mahmoudia Motors-Land Rover supports brand enthusiast and adventure seeker Zaid Siwady on expedition to rediscover Jordan

As part of its ‘MYLAND’ creative communications platform, and in collaboration with Mahmoudia Motors - the sole and official dealer of Jaguar and Land Rover cars in Jordan -  Land Rover Middle East and North Africa (MENA) followed Land Rover fan and adventure aficionado, Zaid Siwady - the man behind ‘ProjectOverLandy’ - as he set off in a Land Rover LR4 on a nine-day expedition to visit some of Jordan’s most iconic locations. Having departed from Amman on 5 August, 2016, ‘ProjectOverLandy’ explored and documented his expedition as he visited various locations including Jerash, Amra Castle, the Dead Sea, Petra and Aqaba.

Siwady, a Jordanian expat living in the UAE, jumped at the chance to travel back to his homeland and trace some of Jordan’s most stunning sites in the highly capable and versatile Land Rover LR4. With a passion for the Land Rover brand, he set up ‘ProjectOverLandy’ to document the numerous excursions taken in his Land Rover vehicles across the region, providing breathtaking aerial views of his experiences.

Commenting on the expedition, Siwady said, “My current playground spans the UAE and Oman, where I go exploring on a weekly basis in my Land Rover Defender. I am extremely lucky to be part of a region that is so rich in culture, heritage and beauty. It is truly exciting to see my passion for the outdoors lead me back to my land, where I have been able to tackle striking on-road and off-road terrains in the Land Rover LR4. I hope that by capturing my journey, I was able to showcase some of the historical landscapes, archeological landmarks and hidden gems that Jordan has to offer.”
