The 48th UAE National Day will bring the echoes of proud voices to ‘Mall of the Emirates’ as the shopping destination invites Emiratis and UAE residents to come together in collective patriotism and sing the national anthem.

As the nation unites to mark its founding, the mall’s ‘Central Galleria’ will become a focal point for the community to celebrate the values tying the country together by singing ‘Ishi Biladi’, an anthem of unity and love. Mall guests will experience first-hand the spirit of the union through the harmony of voices as they observe UAE National Day together.

Guests are encouraged to keep their eyes open as a popular Emirati celebrity, known as ‘Sawt Al Emarat’ translating to ‘Voice of the United Arab Emirates’ will surprise by singing the Nation’s anthem among the crowd. A well-known singer, composer and poet, the Emirati star was one of three UAE singers who performed at the opening ceremony of the AFC Asian Football Cup UAE 2019, held in January at the Zayed Sports City Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

A number of invited Emirati influencers will also join the participants during the UAE national anthem signing event, with selected media to observe a stirring celebration of one of the most important days in the UAE calendar.

The event will begin at 7:30 P.M. on 2 December in the mall’s Central Galleria. Here, Mall of the Emirates will surround guests with a stunning, opulent backdrop of National Day décor, where lights cascade from the ceiling and the familiar red, black, green and white of the UAE flag hangs proudly.

In addition to the harmonious singing of the national anthem, the mall will add to the festive spirit by hosting traditional Emirati entertainment on each day of the National Day holiday celebrations.
