Masafi signs agreement to adopt a school In Gaza in partnership with Dubai Cares

Masafi,one of the region’s leading FMCG brands, has announced that it is adopting a pre-school in Gaza, providing finance and support for Palestinian children in a new partnership with Dubai Cares.

The initiative is the latest in a series of partnerships between Masafi and Dubai Cares, a philanthropic organisation working to improve access to quality primary education in developing countries. In Palestine, Dubai Cares has been running its “Adopt A School” initiative since 2012, and Masafi is the latest UAE-based company to sign up for the initiative.

The three-year agreement was officially signed by Reginald Randall, CEOof Masafi and Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Cares in a recent ceremony,enhancing the already strong relationship between the two organisations.

The Dubai Cares’ “Adopt A School” initiative seeks to develop,renovate and improve the quality of existing schools in Palestine, ensuring that youngsters gain access to the quality primary education they deserve.

This new partnership follows the recent successful unique fundraising initiative by Masafi, which conducted an online auction to encourage bidding for what was set to become the world’s most valuable bottle of mineral water by auctioning a standard 1.5 litre bottle of Masafi Mineral Water. All the proceeds from the auction were donated to Dubai Cares.
