Mashreq announces exciting promotion at Gitex Shopper 2011

Mashreq, one of the UAE’s leading financial institution today announced its participation in Gitex Shopper 2011, the most anticipated event of the year to take place at the Airport Expo Dubai from 8 – 15 October 2011. Mashreq has been actively participating in GITEX Shopper since its inception, providing terminals at various merchant kiosks.

Mashreq partnered with select leading electronic giants in the Middle East for Gitex Shopper 2011 to bring exciting offers. All Mashreq debit and credit cardholders will recieve AED 100 as cash back for any purchaces of AED 1,500 or more at Jumbo, Sharaf DG, Jacky’s, Emax, Compume and LG. A Mashreq debit or credit cardholder can receive a maximum cash back of AED 500 on their card spends at partner outlets throughout the eight days of Gitex Shopper 2011.

Additionally, credit cardholders are offered the opportunity to convert all their purchases to a 0% interest payment plan ranging from 3 months to 12 months.

Non Mashreq customers can apply for a credit card at Gitex Shopper 2011 and receive up to AED 200 in cash back in their card account upon first spend on the card.

During GITEX Shopper 2011, Mashreq will also be providing 190 terminals to various merchant kiosks to facilitate all purchases. Mashreq acquired 70% of overall purchase volume at GITEX Shopper in 2010 and aim to maintain the share in 2011 as well.
