MoF receives a delegation from the General Secretariat Federal National Council in Abu Dhabi

In line with its strategy to share knowledge and experiences with various agencies and government institutions in the UAE; the Ministry of Finance (MoF) received a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Federal National Council yesterday in the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting aimed to elaborate on MoF’s experiences in developing regulations and financial policies in the UAE.
This meeting provided the delegation the opportunity to observe various regulations adopted by MoF; such as the digital procurement and financial reports system adopted by the Financial Resources Department, the achievement system used by the Strategic Planning and Performance Department, the performance system of Human Resources Department and the technical support system HP Services used by the Information Technology Department. Furthermore, mechanisms implemented by the Financial Operations System on budget preparation and presentation were also discussed.
Saif bin Ali Al Khatri, Director of Government Communications, welcomed the delegation of the Secretariat of General Secretariat of the Federal National Council and praised the mutual relations between both sides. Moreover, Al Khatri explained that such visits provide real opportunities for all government institutions to improve the quality of their services, thus contributing to the achievement of a sustainable and balanced development in the UAE. The Ministry is also looking forward to continuing to coordinate with various other parties to hold more meetings in order to exchange knowledge and experiences.
It should be noted that at the end of the meeting, the visiting delegation put forward a series of questions and inquiries about the regulations that were addressed and discussed, in order to improve and develop the performance of those systems used by the Ministry.
