National Bank of Fujairah underscores focus on Emiratisation at Fujairah Career Fair 2016

National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) PJSC continues to reaffirm its support for the development of local talent through its participation at the Fujairah Career Fair 2016. This was the fifth consecutive year that NBF participated in the three-day event, wherein it sought to attract more people to participate in its award-winning career development programmes.  

The bank also supported the “Tawdheef 2016” in Abu Dhabi earlier this year and is also scheduled to participate in another career fair in Dubai next month.

A key element of NBF’s HR strategy is the cultivation of Emirati talent to both meet the bank’s requirements as well as support the country’s leadership development efforts. NBF’s award-winning Emiratisation initiatives are geared towards helping UAE Nationals maximise their potential, and include a management trainee program designed to groom fresh graduates into management positions, as well as career advancement and national development programmes that bolster the career growth of existing UAE National employees within the bank.

The bank achieved an Emiratisation ratio of 42% in 2015, an increase over the previous year. Its Nationalisation efforts have also received recognition; last year, the bank was shortlisted for two awards: Certificate of Excellence for Nationalisation 2015 at the MENA HR Excellence Awards and Best Nationalisation Initiative at the 10^th Human Capital Forum.
