“In today’s increasingly connected world, customer expectations continue to evolve at a rapid pace. They have neither the time or the inclination to go to the branch, they want their banking on the go. With our mobile app we tap into this need, allowing customers the freedom to bank how they want, whenever they want making it convenient and hassle-free,” said Abdul Karim Al Hinai – Deputy General Manager - Alternative Channels - Retail Banking at NBO.

Celebrating excellence in the finance industry, the International Finance Magazine awards serve to highlight the accomplishments of banks leading in innovation, infrastructure development and customer centricity. Held annually, they identify a variety of categories, selecting outstanding examples of industry talent, leadership skills, industry net worth and capability on an international platform.

Developed in-house, and available for all residents of Oman (both NBO and non-NBO customers), the app combines versatility, reliability and convenience with high-tech features such as Biometric log-in, and mPin. Users can perform a whole host of tasks including opening accounts, paying utility and credit card bills, locating branches and ATMs, applying for products such as the Easy Payment Plan (EPP) and Badeel (Prepaid Cards), making local and international money transfers, in addition to instant remittance.
