Online registration and payment for the Samsung Amman International Marathon is now available

The Samsung Amman International Marathon announced that registration and online payment are now available on the Marathon’s website. Participants can register for the Marathon that will kick off on Friday October 28^th, 2011 through the website at www.amman-marathon.com. 

Lina El Kurd, Deputy General Manager of the Amman International Marathon, stated, “The time has come to register for the 2011 Samsung Amman International Marathon. This year, we strive to make the registration and payment processes for participants as convenient and quick as possible through our website.” 

By visiting the Marathon website, participants can instantly and easily access any information about the race, the route, registration and payment processes, and much more.   

The Samsung Amman International Marathon is a public sporting event that is open to participants above the age of 6 from all over the world.  This year’s Marathon will consist of two races— the 42.195 km marathon and the 10 km fun run. The Marathon is also one of the few major sporting events to take place in the region that provides people with special needs with an opportunity to demonstrate their sporting prowess. 

The Samsung Amman International Marathon has grown to become one of the most successful sporting events to be held in Jordan since it was launched in 2009, attracting an increasing number of professional athletes and amateur participants from all over the world. In 2010, over 10,000 people from various countries took part in the event making it one of the largest marathons to be held in the Middle East region.
