Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, celebrated Eid al-Fitr in the Avenues Mall with competitions valuable prizes on the second and third days of Eid. Prizes included smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and game consoles.

The competition is inspired by the 90’s hit Japanese competition show, Takeshi’s Castle, which was popular in the Middle East with its Arabic dubbing. Participants were given 30 seconds to enter a maze and search the boxes placed in its different chambers for prizes.

Commenting on this, Ooredoo’s Corporate Communications Director Mijbil Alalyoub said: “We’re very happy to interact with our clients on this happy occasion, and we are always seeking opportunities to be wherever they are. This event is part of our ongoing social responsibility strategy throughout the year.”

Hundreds of participants received valuable gifts, including smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and gaming consoles. Ooredoo’s social responsibility activities earlier in Ramadan included visits to several entities such as hospitals, care centers, Mubarakiya Souk and NGOs in addition to the iftar tent which distributed meals throughout the month of Ramadan.
