Ooredoo celebrates National Day with a host of family-friendly activities across the Sultanate
In celebration of Oman’s 46th National Day, Ooredoo has lined up a number of exciting activities to pay tribute to the visionary rule of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. Every weekend until 9 December 2016, Ooredoo will be organising several exciting events in five different locations to mark this very special occasion with people across the nation.
Kumail Al Moosawi, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Office, said, “National Day is the perfect opportunity to reflect, unite, and celebrate almost five decades of peace and prosperity we have enjoyed under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. Through these social events, we hope to inspire as many people as possible to honour the achievements of the Sultanate beyond national day and to continue upholding the values and traditions that have brought us this far.”
Set to be a whirlwind of fun for adults and children alike, the events will be held consecutively in the Wilayats of Sur, Nizwa, Muscat, Sohar, and Salalah. Each location will feature a traditional Omani theme, stage plays, a national day raffle draw, children’s contests with prizes and face painting among many other activities.
All of the upcoming events will be announced through Ooredoo’s social media on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. You can also follow coverage of their event on Snapchat.
