Ooredoo receives AUK Students

A group of AUK students visited the head office of Ooredoo, Kuwait’s fastest network, last week. The visit was part of their course work in the mass communications department. Ooredoo held an orientation workshop for the students about the company’s future vision for the field of corporate communications.

Ooredoo employees from the Public Relations department explained to the students the different roles they play, which includes developing content for different media channels like newspapers, radio and television, as well as updating the public on the company’s latest activities and various products and offers.

Students were also given a presentation about the special role that the role of social media, corporate social responsibility and sponsorships in the department. The presentations were followed by an open discussion session where students’ questions about the different roles of the department were answered. Ooredoo places great importance on youth, believing that they play an essential role in impacting positive change in the future.
