QGBC signs MoU with Pakistan Engineers Forum to promote sustainability
Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) and the Pakistan Engineers Forum (PEF) in Qatar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, intended to maximise utilisation of their collective resources and expertise. The agreement will help deliver relevant education, training and promotion to enhance sustainability efforts within the construction industry, to the benefit of industry stakeholders and the wider community. This goal will be achieved through joint research projects and outreach activities undertaken by both organisations.
The MoU signing was attended by Ahmad Al Jolo, founding member of QGBC, and Engineer Meshal Al Shamari, Director of QGBC, alongside other senior representatives from both organisations.
Commenting on the alliance, Al Jolo said, “We are delighted at the opportunity to team up with the Pakistan Engineers Forum in Qatar, as this agreement will allow us to collectively raise awareness on key sustainability issues regarding the built environment, and we will achieve this through various upcoming outreach activities.”
