RAK Ceramics to reaffirm its market leadership at Big 5

RAK Ceramics will be using its floor space at the forthcoming Big 5 exhibition to showcase itstiling and bathware productsthat have made a splash at exhibitions across the globe. The world’s largest ceramics manufacturer has recently undertaken a successful global roadshow showcasing its latest product lines, a tour that culminates with Big 5, which runs from November 25-28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

“Big 5 is a magnet for construction customers from across the GCC and RAK Ceramics will be using the exhibition to underpin our market-leading position with itsinnovative and stylish interior product offerings,” said Abdallah Massaad CEO, RAK Ceramics. “UAE’s construction and real estate sector is bouncing backand this will add further responsibility to us to introduce pioneering green building solution that will enhance lifestyle in the region” he added.

RAK Ceramics has recently concluded its participations in Castorama Collections Fair at Lille, France followed by successful showcase of its products range at Project Iraq in Erbil and Bahrain Housing in Adliya culminating a successful roadshow that began with participation at Cersaie, Italy and Marseille Fair, France.

This year marks the 12th consecutive year that RAK Ceramics has participated in the Big 5 that brings togetherarchitects, civil engineers, interior designers, contractors and developers in what is the Arabian Gulf’s largest construction trade show. The four days of networkingprovides ample opportunity to network and identify and source the latest products and services in the industry.

“RAK Ceramics will be using Big 5 as a networking opportunity to speak to trade professionals, network and scout for new market trends as it is also the ideal venue for us to unveil our latest innovations and launch new and exclusive 2014 product lines and collections.” said Massaad. “We have just conducted a successful roadshow that took us to different parts of the world including Europe and Middle East where our European-designed products proved to be very popular with customers,” added Massaad.

Among RAK Ceramics’ new tile collections it will be displaying at its 150 sq.m. stand at Big 5 are its Wood Art Collection, a series of novel and contemporary Gres Porcellanato wood finished tiles that form part of the company’s commitment to offer eco-friendly products that are an alternative to natural wood. Included in the Collection are the Vintage tile, which is inspired from gracefully aged wood, with warm tones to decorate interiors. These floor tiles are available in sizes of 14.5 x 120cm and 19.5 x 120cm. The company’s Sequoia tile under the same collection has a contemporary design influenced by a natural wood finish which best suits floors in lawns and walls in living rooms. It is available in 19.5 x 120cm and 14.5 x 120cm sizes and three colours. The Chip Wood tile is available in sizes of 14.5 x 120cm and 19.5 x 120cm for both walls and floors, with Cargo Wood that is inspired by embossments and stamps of wooden cartons in cargo shipments available in sizes of 19.5 x 60cm and 14.5 x 60cm for both walls and floors.

RAK Ceramic’s Stone Collection of Gres Porcellanato tiles to be exhibited include the Sheer Stone series, which reflect the earthly and sober tones of natural marble, giving interiors a warm and soothing ambience. This tile is available in symmetric 60 x 60cm and 30 x 60cm formats.Within its Concrete Collection, RAK Ceramic’s Cementina Décor tiles feature bold and fading strokes of cement. The range is available in two unique designs and sizes: 60 x 60cm and 30 x 30cm.The range also includes Vietnam, which is made with stencils of various geometrical flowers, suiting a contemporary design style. The tiles are produced in 60 x 120cm formats for both wall and floor applications.

RAK Ceramics will also be exhibiting its Surface, Sheen and Metallic Collections at this year’s Big 5. Withits sporting concrete texture, the Surface tile is ideal for modern architecture. Available in 11 colours and three finishes, Surface series brings urbanism to interiors and is available in 60 x 60cm and 30 x 60cm formats.The Sheen collection is a brand new range of ceramic tiles manufactured using the latest technology. The collection possesses subtle shades of gold and combined with light and delicate designs to give a gleam of gold to homes. The Sheen Collection includes Morisa, Polar and Augusta tiles.The Metallic Collection includes new colours and designs such as Sparko, which are available in size 45 x 90cm and the Six Sense tile series, available in sizes 60 x 60cm and 45 x 90cm.

In addition to its tile collections, RAK Ceramics will be showcasing its European design bathware range, which includes Opulence, Elena and Metropolitan.Boosting the company’s eco-credentials are the KLUDI range of faucets for which it is the sole distributor. The range of ISO-Certified water-saving devices for kitchens and bathrooms are expected to be a big hit at Big 5.
