Rotana Scoops Two Awards at World Travel Awards Grand Final 2017 in Vietnam

The group won ‘World's Leading Business Hotel Brand 2017’, while its flagship property in the UAE, Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, was named ‘World's Leading Corporate Resort 2017’.

Recognized for showcasing exemplary leadership in the hospitality industry, Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with hotels across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, won two awards at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2017 held in Phu Quoc, Vietnam.

The group was honoured with one of the most prestigious titles of the night, ‘World's Leading Business Hotel Brand 2017’ at the annual awards dubbed as ‘Oscars of the travel world,’ while its flagship property in the UAE, Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, was named ‘World's Leading Corporate Resort 2017’.

The awards, which coincide with the brand’s completion of 25 successful years in the business, were presented in the presence of hundreds of industry leaders from across the world. The glittering ceremony on the Vietnamese island marked the conclusion of WTA’s global tour with a series of regional gala ceremonies staged to recognize and reward leaders in the tourism, airline, hotel and hospitality sectors in different regions.

At the Middle East Gala Ceremony held in Dubai in October 2017, Rotana had made a clean sweep of 19 awards, including the coveted‘Middle East’s Leading Hotel Brand’ title, for the 11^th year in a row.
