Samsung Electronics Levant honors the wrestler Yahya Abu Tabeekh

Samsung Electronics Levant honored the recently retired wrestler, Yahya Abu Tabeekh, in recognition of his achievements during his career that lasted 17 years.

Samsung Electronics Levant has always been a supporter of distinguished athletes, like Yahya Abu Tabeekh, as the company previously sponsored the Jordanian national team during “The Asian Games 2014”, where Abu Tabeekh was one of the team’s members. Yahya Abu Tabeekh is the only Jordanian player who won three gold medals in three consecutive Pan Arab Games. He also won medals in five Asian championships besides being the Arabs champion for the past ten years. In addition to the medals, Abu Tabeekh won many awards and titles, such as being nominated for the Black Iris award three times, in 2015 he received “The Distinctive Player” award during the Arab Championship in Morocco.

Commenting on honoring Yahya Abu Tabeekh, Mr. Fadi Abu Shamat, Head of Retail and Corporate Marketing at Samsung Electronics Levant, said: “Samsung Electronics Levant is keen on motivating and recognizing Jordanian athletes, in addition to shedding light on the Jordanian participation in international events; by sponsoring our distinguished Olympians.”
