Samsung celebrates Jordanian and Arab artists

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics and ranking 9th in Interbrands List for 2012, and under the patronage of HRH Princess Reem Ali celebrated the Jordanian and Arab artists at the Cultural and Artistic “Tyche” Awards 2012. 

Samsung Electronics Levant, being the premium sponsor for “Tyche” awards, organized by the Jordanian Broadcast Channels (JBC Group) hosted more than 700 artists from around the Arab world at King Hussein Conference Center in the Dead Sea. 

Mr. Bumsuk Hong President of Samsung Electronics Levant commented on the sponsorship of this event saying: “We at Samsung Electronics Levant are pleased to be the official sponsors of the “Tyche” Awards, the event that helped bring a large number of Arab and Jordanian artists under one roof, to celebrate and honor their ongoing achievements”.  

Mr. Bumsuk added: “It’s a great pleasure to be a part of this event that mainly supports our social responsibility towards the “Prosthetics for a better life” initiative that gives the chance for underprivileged people who lost body parts, the opportunity for a better life and future.” 

And it is worth mentioning that “Tyche” Awards this year presented 17 awards, eleven of which were given by a judging panel formed from great Arab and Jordanian artists, Media representatives, and intellectuals.
