Samsung brings London 2012 closer to the community through its Smartphone technology

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies andWorldwide Partner of London 2012 Olympics Games, is offering the community to experience and take part in the London 2012 Olympic Games by launching “Everyone’s Olympic Games” campaign in the UAE. 

The campaign runs from July 27 - August 12 at the Dubai Mall and includes community engagement activities and a Twitter campaign. Some of the highlights include the display of the Olympic Torch and the GALAXY S III Olympic Challenge. Samsung is also taking the London 2012 Olympics Games to Twitter, with the GALAXY S III Tweet Olympics. 

By participating in the Galaxy S III Olympic Challenge, visitors will get a chance to win the device, every week. To take part, participants have to complete a number of tasks and challenges using the smartphone’s interactive features in the fastest time. 

In addition, Twitter users can also bag the hot new device by participating in the Galaxy S III Tweet Olympics. Participants have to choose between two teams, Team White Flame vs. Team Blue Flame, and tweet about – Why do I like the GALAXY S III and the team with highest number of tweets wins. Contestants who wish to take part have to register on micro site – www.tweet-olympics.com.
