Sharjah Media City (Shams), a world-class media hub for innovative facilities and services, has successfully concluded its participation in the first ever virtual exhibition of “Seamless Saudi Arabia Virtual 2020”, as a Gold Sponsor of the event within its participation on 8th and 9th July, where it reviewed the latest technologies and innovation in the field of e-commerce.

The event delivered hundreds of offers, presentations, live panel discussions, and a number of sales meetings across an online virtual platform. The event gave a number of businesses the opportunity to participate and showcase their brands, products and services under the umbrella of Shams.

Shams successfully participated in a panel discussion titled “E-commerce 2030: Strengthening efforts by establishing the right partnerships”. H.E. Shihab Alhammadi, Director of Sharjah Media City (Shams), was joined by, Dennis Du, Vice President of Jollychic, and Hammad Anwar, Vice General Manager of ekuep.com & Chief Technology Officer of Bargo Venture, and the discussion was moderated by Christina Ioannidis, CEO of Aquitude.

Alhammadi discussed with the other speakers a range of topics, such as the main components of building a strong infrastructure that allows for a high standard of customer service at all times, the importance of commercial partnerships when navigating the e-commerce market, and how Shams is supporting entrepreneurship and fostering SMEs growth.

Alhammadi expressed his happiness at the successful participation of Shams in the first virtual exhibition for “Seamless Saudi Arabia Virtual 2020", and said that the results achieved will show their effects in the near future, highlighting Shams' vision of supporting entrepreneurs, innovation and creativity locally and globally.
