Sony Mobile’s Xperia XZ Premium and XA1 Ultra Now Available in Jordan
Sony Mobile Communications today announced that its award-winning Xperia XZ Premium smartphone and Xperia XA1 Ultra are now available in select stores in Jordan.
Stores now stocking Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XA1 Ultra include SmartBuy and Carrefour, both of which already offer Xperia XA1 and Xperia L1 across Jordan.
Built with the latest Sony intelligence, Xperia XZ Premium has won more than 30 industry awards globally and is the only smartphone in the world to feature Sony’s new Motion Eye™ camera system. It offers the world’s first 960 framesi per second Super slow motion video capture and playback, four times slower than any other smartphone. Its camera is so advanced that it captures motion that the human eye can’t see.
For the first time ever in a smartphone, Xperia XZ Premium features a 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range, 2160 x 3840) 5.5” displayii and uses Sony’s BRAVIA TV technology to give you an immersive 4K HDR viewing experience in the palm of your hand. Furthermore, it offers users super-fast download speeds, a stunning loop design and several other intelligent features, and is powered by the cutting edge Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 835 Mobile Platform.
The stunning super mid-range Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra, meanwhile, feature a beautiful borderless design to make the most of the edge-to-edge screen. Building on the success of last year’s XA models, the XA1, which offers an 8MP front camera and 23mm wide-angle lens, and XA1 Ultra, which features a 16MP front camera with Optical Image Stabilizer to eliminate the effects of handshake, are supported by display technologies to deliver a crisp, sharp viewing experience on an edge-to-edge HD (720p) screen.
Both Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra boast high-end camera specifications with 23MP sensors and are designed to ensure a longer lasting performance over the smartphone’s lifetime. Additionally, the Xperia Actions feature aims to learn your usage patterns to simplify your daily life by suggesting customisable settings and personalised recommendations. For example, when you go to bed your Xperia can learn your bedtime routine and automatically adjust the screen brightness and call volume.
Moving on to the Xperia L1 and the beautifully designed smartphone performs as good as it looks. Xperia L1 features a high-quality 5.5” display with loop surface design and narrow borders so you can view and share everything.
Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XA1 Ultra are both available in SmartBuy and Carrefour stores across Jordan. Prices are as follows: Xperia XZ Premium – JOD549; Xperia XA1 – JOD197; Xperia XA1 Ultra – JOD264; and Xperia L1 – JOD137.

started as a small company with capital of just 190,000 yen and approximately 20 employees.
Founder Masaru Ibuka said the purpose of setting up the company was to "establish an ideal factory
that stresses a spirit of freedom and open mindedness that will, through technology, contribute to Japanese culture."
Symbolizing Sony's spirit of challenge to "do what has never been done before,"
the company has continued to release countless "Japan's first" and "world's first" products.
