Sony Action Cam adopted as official camera of choice for Isle of Man TT Race 2013

The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) race generated extra highlights this year through 47 HDR-AS15 Action Cams, which were fitted to the vehicles of leading racers. The astounding content is available for viewing on the Sony Action Cam YouTube channel.

Designed to capture video footage from the most extraordinary vantage points, Action Cam brings together the best of Sony technology into a 90g body that features a 16.8MP Exmor R™ sensor and delivers functions such as image stabilisation and slow motion photography.

We needed a camera solution that was unobtrusive but enabled us to capture the adrenalin rush experienced by the TT riders, and the Action Cam fitted the bill perfectly – the reason we adopted it as the official camera for the TT Races this year.”

The Action Cam is Mac® and PC compatible for easy upload to social sharing sites such as Facebook® and YouTube™. Its built-in Wi-Fi® allows users to instantly share their content to Wi-Fi®-enabled mobile phones and tablets.
