To celebrate theHoly Month of Ramadan, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, announced today a special offer for members of its award-winning Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) loyalty programme. During Ramadan, SPG members will receive a discount of up to 30 percent on Iftar or Suhoor at 60 participating hotels in the 18 countries across the Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean as well as in Turkey. SPG members who partake in Iftar or Suhoor at the participating hotels will also earn Starpoints which can be redeemed for free nights, room upgrades and flights, or use the reward points to bid for one-of-a-kind experiences through SPG Moments.

The Ramadan offer will be available in 60 Starwood hotels in Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritius, Morocco, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda and United Arab Emirates. Some of the participating properties are featured in the ’2014 SPG Member Favorite Hotels & Resorts List‘, which were selected by SPG members from across the globe: Grosvenor House, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Dubai (UAE), Le Meridien Ibom (Nigeria), Sheraton Dubai Mall of the Emirates (UAE), The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa (UAE) and W Doha Hotel & Residences (Qatar).  For a full list of participating Starwood properties and venues, please visit spg.com/Ramadan.
