Toshiba introduces the thin and light Satellite L40t

Toshiba Gulf FZE launches today the 14-inch Satellite L40t, a mainstream laptop that features a sleek and compact design.

Through its 4th Generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, Windows 8.1 platform, 2GB of dedicated graphics and a system memory of 16GB, the Satellite L40t offers consistently reliable performance for students, home users and also business travellers. It is now available in the market.

The Satellite L40t has a frameless keyboard with tile keys that are sufficiently spaced apart and shaped with a 0.2mm concavity. Each key is designed to follow the finger’s natural shape, increasing typing accuracy and comfort.

Its touchscreen display offers demanding users a seamlessly smooth and responsive navigation experience. It features a large ClickPad that makes operating and navigating the laptop highly convenient. The Satellite L40t’s edge-to-edge glass provides an elegantly seamless look.

The laptop comes in Satin Gold, Luxe White and Premium Black so users may choose which look best reflects their style and personality. Compact and easy to carry, the Satellite L40t is a sleek and reliable device at a friendly price.

Extensive Connectivity

The laptop’s connectivity features include RGB, HDMI, LAN, USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, along with Wi-Fi^® and Bluetooth^® 4.0. This comprehensive set makes file transfers quick and effortless, while allowing for maximum compatibility when connections to projectors and HDTVs are required for business presentations.

USB Sleep and Charge is an added connectivity feature. It allows users to charge their mobile devices on the Satellite L40t even when it is turned off, making the laptop especially handy for mobile users and frequent travellers.

Bright Visuals and Clear Sound

The HD screen features Toshiba Resolution+ which allows for clearer details and more vibrant colours even for DVD movies and web videos with low resolution. Another visual feature is Toshiba’s Clear Super View (CSV) that produces brighter images.

For online communication, the Satellite L40t has an HD camera that captures lifelike images, and Onkyo speakers with DTS sound^TM tuned by Skullcandy for a richer, more realistic video chat experience. A highly precise audio output for music and movies is also achieved.
