Trevor Noah Set to Return to Yas Island This December

Award-winning stand-up comedian Trevor Noah is returning to Yas Island, the UAE’s premier leisure and entertainment destination. The famed comedian is set to deliver an evening of endless laughter with his all-new stand-up show, Trevor Noah Live at du Forum on Friday December 21, 2018.

Noah’s growing list of accolades include Best Host at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, as well as a Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series for his hosting role on The Daily Show – Between the Scenes. In November 2016, Trevor released his first book, Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood, which went on to become an instant New York Times bestseller. The book received many awards and is now being made into a feature film starring Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o.

The comic’s meteoric rise to fame has seen him take on TV, radio and his first love, stand-up comedy. Noah toured his first one man show in 2009 and his second show, The Racist, enjoyed overwhelming sold-out success at Edinburgh Fringe, the world’s largest arts festival. The comic is of course no stranger to the region, having performed to sold-out shows across the UAE. His sharp wit, intelligent commentary, unmistakable charm and clinical delivery proved to be a hit with Yas Island audiences last year, when he added another show to what was originally planned as a one-night performance at the du Forum due to popular demand.                                            

Noah’s upcoming show is part of Yas Island’s biggest events calendar to date, which features over 40 new and returning events including an exciting selection of international shows, cultural festivities and entertainment for the entire family.
