VIVA signs agreement with Twitter

VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operator, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Twitter to offer unlimited free internet access to Twitter through VIVA’s available data Surf On packages for both its postpaid and prepaid customers.

The unique and innovative Surf Ons offer VIVA customers unlimited free internet access to Twitter; the real time communication service that enables users to send and read "Tweets", which are short updates containing text, photos and videos limited to 140 characters. The Surf On plans allow VIVA customers to access high speed internet on their smartphones at significantly reduced rates.

VIVA is offering two monthly Surf On plans; the first one for just KD3.9, offers not only the aforementioned unlimited internet access but also gives an additional 500 MB for browsing or accessing other applications. The second Surf On plan priced at 7.9 KD, enables subscribers to get unlimited access to download applications and iOS upgrades from the App Store, as well as unlimited internet access to several local news websites and applications.

Customers who would like to have unlimited access to all sites and applications can subscribe to the KD18 per month plan and enjoy uninterrupted access. For current 3.9KD or 7.9KD subscribers who have consumed their data capacity, VIVA has also arranged a supplemental data package that grants an additional 500 MB of internet usage plus unlimited internet access of said applications at a cost of 1KD.
