wasl Properties announces Ramadan Campaign week four winner

wasl Properties, a wholly owned subsidiary of wasl today announced the young artist, Mohammed Rizwan, aged 10, as the last winner of the four week, unique Ramadan campaign contest, “Connect with the Community.”
In support of the group’s publicly stated goals of community service, charitable and educational support, the week four winner donated AED 10,000 to the Dubai charity of his choice. Honored in a public ceremony at wasl Group headquarters, the artist, his family and wasl staff were all in attendance to greet and congratulate the young winner.
wasl Properties will announce the winner of the Grand Prize next week with the lucky final winner taking home up to AED 50,000. In support for school fees to be paid by wasl Properties for the 2011/2012 year.
“Connect with the Community” painting contest (http://ramadan.wasl.ae) is centered on life in the artist’s community and helping others. The artists were invited to express their feelings about their community and the spirit of helping others in artworks. Entry was limited to children of wasl residential tenants with children aged 4-18. Voting for the paintings was open to the public.
