Western Digital wins three Channel Awards this year

Western Digital (WD), a pioneer and global leader in the data storage industry, earns three reputable awards in the past three months by major IT committees succeeding in three different categories – component vendor, storage vendor and storage brand of the year. The channel awards recognize companies that have successfully engaged with the channel identifying the best-in-class Channel Partners and distributors in the Middle East region.
The ITP, Reseller World and VAR MEA awards are designed to recognize the efforts, focus and commitment of retailers and vendors who have exceeded the standards of excellence and have made significant achievement in areas of sales, product mix, training and innovation over the past year.
Western Digital was chosen based on several criteria's including product mix and sales growth across the company’s extensive range of products and partner relations.

Western Digital continues to focus on developing its channel within the region with initiatives such as product training and education on product classification so that the channel can offer the right product. The WD University Certification Program is the company’s latest training tool which offers both the channel and distribution network an opportunity to self train and qualify as a WD Certified Sales Specialist and a WD Certified Sales Expert.
