Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge announce winners of 1st qualifying round

Xerox, the leading enterprise for business process and document management, announce the winners of the first qualifying round of the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club in UAE on Saturday 8th October 2011. The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge is managed by Troon Golf with Avis Rent a Car and ABB as the main sponsors of the event. Co-sponsors of the Challenge are Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, ECCO and Crystal Gallery along with the media sponsors being Khaleej Times in addition to Golf Digest.
The tournament hosted over 100 players and a number of different events, highlighting the popularity of the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge throughout the Middle East region. The triumph of the first round went to Sung Jin Hwang and In Ki Kim with a net score of 65. Sung Jim Hwang and In Ki Kim now have the opportunity to compete in the Grand Finale on Thursday, April 26th at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai.
Ricus Lehmkhul and Aart Lehmkhul followed closely in second place and Madhave Nair and Ashok Kumar who laded third place. During the course of the tournament there were a number of other winners such as Guy Williams, Christ Ross, Muriel Gosselin and Muhammed Sulaiman, who all participated, and won in the event ‘The Longest Drive and the Nearest Pin’, sponsored by ECCO .
