Zain Bahrain Iftar drive as a part of ‘Enrich Your Ramadan’ campaign
Zain Bahrain, the most innovative telecom provider in the Kingdom, continues to play a vital role in supporting the community as part of its focused Corporate Social Responsibility campaign during the holy month under the umbrella of ‘Enrich Your Ramadan’.
One of the key initiatives launched by Zain Bahrain was the Iftar Drive which attracted scores of volunteers, representing civic societies along with individuals, who tirelessly helped distribute the meals to a number of low-income families during the holy month. Zain customers also joined the drive by sending an SMS worth BD1.5 and a meal was donated on their behalf to a Bahraini family.
“The initiative is a part of a holistic campaign under the umbrella of ‘Enrich Your Ramadhan’. Our Corporate Social Responsibility solely focuses on spreading awareness and supporting those in need. We at Zain Bahrain reaffirm our commitment towards the community,” said Zain Bahrain’s Corporate Communications Manager, Samya Hussein.
“Our role in the community is routinely discussed and we continuously review our strategies to be in line with our community related initiatives and keep a close eye on the community’s evolving needs,” she added.
