President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) Hatem Halawani called for overcoming difficulties that face the flow of the Jordanian exports to the Iraqi markets. According to <i>Petra</i>, Jordan's exports to Iraq went up during 2004 by 36% to hit JD 356 million compared to JD 224 million in 2003.
Specifically, Halawani called on the Ministry of Trade and Industry and all concerned parties, in a statement issued by JCI on Saturday, to work on solving obstacles related to the movement of the land transport between Jordan and Iraq.
