Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Ministerial Committee for the Development of Remote Areas, was briefed recently on the progress of projects being undertaken by the committee. According to Khaleej Times, Shaikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE's Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the Executive Committee for Development of Remote Areas, made a detailed presentation on the progress of work on the projects. He mentioned that the first stage of the project to maintain houses in Ras Al Khaimah was finished. The project is scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2006.
