Qatar Airways is considering the possibility of joining the international consortium that will undertake the development of India's private sector international greenfield airports in Hyderabad and Bangalore, the carrier’s CEO Akbar Al-Baker told the Times of India

Al-Baker also stated that the airline does not intend to bid for the privatization of four Indian metro airports, dispelling reports that the airline has formed a joint venture with an Indian firm for that purpose.

Now flying to over 35 destinations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Qatar Airways has chalked out an ambitious growth plan to raise the number of destinations to over 50 and double the fleet strength in the next two years. — (menareport.com)
