Qatar Insurance Group is establishing a new company ‘Epicure Investment’ with an initial capital of QR1.8mn in the Qatar Financial Center (QFC).

The official spokesperson of Qatar Insurance Group, Abdulla al-Mulla, confirmed that the directors’ board, during their meeting yesterday, approved the establishment of a limited liability company in accordance with the rules set out by the QFC.

The new company will be named ‘Epicure Investment Management’ or any other name that is approved by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA).

The new company will carry out investment business consultation, the spokesman added.
