Raya Holding showcases in Egypt

Raya Holding, a pioneer in the field of Information Technology and Telecommunications in the Middle East, showcased its latest IT & Telecommunications solutions for the Middle East market at Raya World Conference and Exhibition 2005, held recently in Egypt.

 

The event was part of Raya's ongoing commitment to organise regular technical seminars and product demonstrations to assist customers with their buying decisions by presenting Raya's extensive portfolio of technological solutions that have been designed to boost performance and gain the competitive edge.

 

"The third Raya World Regional Conference and Exhibition gave us the ideal platform from which to present a series of focused seminars and workshops to key business sectors including Banking, Telecoms, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Government and Education," said Medhat Khalil, Chairman and CEO, Raya Holding.

 

"We highlighted the key issues and challenges facing these sectors and proposed innovative solutions. Our speakers were all experts with the highest credentials in their areas of speciality," he added.

 

Raya World 2005 demonstrated the use of IT applications using Raya solutions, and also featured presentations on the latest digital products provided by Raya, including PCs, ADSL and mobile phones. The opening ceremony was attended by high profile dignitaries, including Dr. Tarek Kamel, Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Hannu MUntyvaara, Finnish Ambassador to Egypt, as well as prominent visitors from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other countries around the region.

 

"The event helped us platform the rapid growth achieved by Raya and show glimpses of the major projects executed by Raya in the different business sectors in the Middle East. We highlighted our plans for a further expansion in the region, including major projects in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.
