Sabban Property Investments (SPI) announced that it has recently completed the design of the podium level of its QR 1.2 billion Sabban Towers project at The Pearl-Qatar, due for completion by July 2008. Spanning an area of over 6500 sq. metres, the podium level houses all three towers that comprise the entire development, and is set to provide luxurious amenities, beautiful greenery and outdoor relaxation facilities.

Complementing the outstanding landscape that surrounds the development, the podium level will include nature-inspired relaxation facilities such as elaborate water fountains, a large outdoor Jacuzzi and landscaped garden areas covering the vast majority of the podium level. The outdoor facilities will also incorporate a 48-metre pool with a built-in refreshment bar and sun bathing area, a separate children’s pool, a purpose built al fresco dining area and shaded picnic park, a secluded children’s play area and lit path ways around all three towers. Strategically located in Porto Arabia Marina with a footprint of 19,692 sq. metres, Sabban Towers will provide its occupants with lavish apartments and penthouses with magnificent views of the marina and the sea.

“The podium level at Sabban Towers is a unique concept, which reflects the distinctive and luxurious comfort that the project is set to deliver to its residents,” said John Browne MBE, Managing Director of Sabban Property Investments. “We are certain that the amenities and services, which will be offered within this nature-inspired recreational facility, will be deeply appreciated by our customers. By combining a relaxed atmosphere with world class conveniences, we remain faithful to our commitment to provide outstanding residential units to investors across the globe.”

Amidst Qatar’s growing focus on highlighting the low-risk and high-yield opportunities within its local real estate market, investors coming from Europe, the US and Asia are continuously being drawn towards this rapidly growing regional economy. As part of its national movement towards maximising the potential of its property development sector, the Qatar Government has also intensified its support to developers, which are building sustainable communities and promoting conservation of energy and water resources. In line with this, SPI has undertaken multi-phase programs to ensure the success of Sabban Towers as the first Carbon Neutral development in the Middle East, with the third phase of the carbon offset project set to be announced in the coming months.

“We are definitely looking forward to the completion of this project and fully leveraging the outstanding market uptrend that is sweeping across the region at present. Our confidence in this project is highly evident with our firm commitment to its delivery within the predetermined timeframe, in addition to our exhaustive efforts to implement carbon neutralisation initiatives which we hope will catch on throughout the development industry,” concluded Browne.
