SADAFCO launches Movenpick ice cream marketing initiative

As part of its long-term investment strategy, the Saudi dairy and food production company SADAFCO recently launched a new marketing initiative for Swiss ice cream Movenpick. 

 

SADAFCO, has been the agent for Movenpick ice cream in the Saudi Kingdom since 1984, currently operating more than 115 ice-cream outlets in Saudi Arabia. “Movenpick ice cream has a market share of 40 million Saudi riyals ($10.6 million) that is witnessing steady growth in the Kingdom,” stated Movenpick manager at SADAFCO Khalid Al-Khelaydi.  

 

Jeddah-based SADAFCO has been operating in the Kingdom since 1976, with seven plants located in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah, producing a range of 100 products. SADAFCO now dominates the Saudi Arabian dairy products market with 50 percent of the Kingdom's total milk sales. Sadafco exports to all countries in the Gulf, as well as Sudan and Yemen. — (menareport.com)
