Saudi Arabia: Big real estate deal reported

According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, sources in the Saudi real estate sector revealed that the Masoud Real Estate Investment Company, which is owned by Mr. Abdul-Karim Al-Masoud, had purchased Bani Najran market (Al-Haram Al-Madina project) from the Aqar Holding Company. The deal, valued SR 2 billion ($533 million), is one of the biggest real estate deals in Saudi Arabia. The Bani Najran Market, which area stands at 13,000 square meters, is characterized by a very strategic location since it's situated in the central area surrounding the Al-Haram Sacred Mosque in Mecca.
