Saudi Arabia increases state subsidy for barley

Saudi Arabia has increased state subsidy for barley from SR150 to SR200 per ton, Agriculture Minister Dr. Fahd Balghuneim announced Sunday. The Kingdom paid earlier this year SR3.95 billion to wheat and barley farmers in arrears for their supplies in the 1421H and 1422H seasons, SPA reported. (menareport.com)
