Saudi Arabia tops list of Jordan trade partners

Saudi Arabia topped the list of Jordan's trade partners in terms of imports in the first eight months of this year. According to Petra news agency, Jordan bought from Saudi Arabia JD732 million worth of products or 20.5 percent of the Kingdom's imports during this period,  

 

According to the monthly bulletin of the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade, China came second with JD310 million, followed by Germany and the United States with JD234 million and JD233 million respectively. 

 

Jordan's imports of crude oil increased by 66.6 percent, electrical appliances 66.5 percent, machinery and equipments 28.8 percent and iron and steel 85.4 percent.
