Saudi Aramco has reported a new gas discovery at the Awtad-1 well located west of the Haradh area of the Ghawar Field and southeast of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The well flowed 32 million cubic feet per day of sweet gas and 640 barrels per day (bpd) of condensate from an open-hole test, conducted over the 'Unayzah Reservoir at 4,353 meters, stated a press release.
Saudi Aramco is the world’s largest oil producer. It is responsible for 99 percent of the Kingdom’s proven crude oil reserves of 259.2 billion barrels, while daily production is estimated at approximately eight million barrels. — (menareport.com)
