According to Al-Riyadh newspaper (June 1, 2005), Saudi businessman Mr. Mohammed Rashid Al Dosary, CEO of Dammam Development Company and member of the Tourism and Real Estate Commissions in the Eastern Province, said that the recently organized real estate fairs in the province did not satisfy the desired levels. These fairs needed technical and administrative upgrades, Al Dosary added. In spite of their major importance, these fairs require a lot of development.
For an instance, the participant exhibitor companies in the first and second real estate and housing fairs in the Eastern region have "disappeared" and many of the presented projects did not see daylight, the CEO said.
