Saudi petrochemical companies are capable of competing in international markets

The Saudi Undersecretary of Industry and Electricity, Saleh Al-Huseiny, stated that local petrochemical firms are presently capable of competing in global markets, reported Al-Hayat . Saudi petrochemical exports stand at 12 billion Saudi Riyals per annum. The same official added that there are 226 petrochemicals manufacturing factories in Saudi Arabia worth SR 109 billion in total investments. Saudi senior governmental sources revealed that the Kingdom has allocated SR 62 billion to expanding and developing the local Jubail and Yanbu Indstrial Estates. — (menareport.com)
